Expression curtailed, held back by shock.
How do I put in words a deed of horror?
I was scared of shadows, I am now afraid of the light
Of monsters that hide in plain sight.
Not of ghosts seeking revenge and retribution ,
but of ghouls seeking pleasure in my pain
Soon this terrifying horror will give way to horrifying
terror,
of men and their acts, stares and hidden thoughts.
Ashamed or angry is no longer the confusion,
Nor is the question what can I do
The question is will I be next or am I the next
witness or victim of such horror.
